To the woman who has a strained relationship with your mother, you are loved.

To the woman who has cut ties with her mother, you are loved.

To the woman who has lost a child, you are loved.

To the woman who has a strained relationship with a child, you are loved.

To the woman who is a single mother, you are loved.

To the woman who feels unappreciated as a mother, you are loved.

To the woman struggling with infertility, longing to be a mother, you are loved.

To the woman who has chosen not to have children, and struggling with others’ judgment, you are loved.

To the woman who is weary, and wants to give up, you are loved.

If today is a day of celebration for you, then you are one of the lucky ones. If today is difficult for you, no matter the reason, know that it’s okay to own that. Your worth and your value aren’t contingent on whether or not you are a mother, wanting to be a mother, or having a good relationship with your mother or children.

You are unique in your giftedness. There are people that only you can reach, only you can love, and only you can impact for the better. You are seen. You are needed. You are loved.
